Product Update - January 2024

🎉 Welcome to 2024, folks! 🎉 Kickstart the new year with our latest product update, with exciting new features that will help you tackle one of biggest changes in our industry. Let's dive in and explore what's in store! 💪

🚀 What's New

In January, we've released the following:

SDK updates

We keep improving our iOS, Android and Web libraries. Although this last release doesn't introduce many changes, it comes packed with important improvements, bug fixes and a couple of new features that make our native libraries and our Flutter, Ionic/Cordova and React Native plugins even better.

New DNS Records page

We've also improved how you configure the email service in our platform. Namely, there is a new page where you can find all the DNS records needed in order for us to be able to send email on your behalf.

Additionally, we will also perform health checks and display the state of each record. You can find this new page in Settings > Services > Email > DNS Records.

Bounces & Complaint Rates

We've introduced new metrics to help you keep your email messaging in check. First off, we've started collecting Complaint events (until now this was only in Delivery Errors). This new event is now available in the Events area as well as in each message detail page.

Furthermore, we are also introducing new aggregations, namely the Bounce and Complaint rates. This will allow you to better understand your audience and the content you send. You can find these metrics in Analytics & Data > Vitals under the Email section.

These two email related features will also help you tackle the biggest change in email in 2024. If you are not aware yet, both Google and Yahoo are getting ready to introduce new requirements for bulk senders. You can read more about these changes in this post from last month.

As always, you can find us available for any question you might have via our Support Channel.
